I am totally feeling you on this one Naomi. I mean the whole digital reading "save the trees" craze is understandable. But it is just something special about that collection of books you have read sitting on the shelf like trophies of you accomplishments.

I'm on the fence. I LOVE the feel of books, some jazz, and a hot cocoa (with marshmallows, of course). But, I also LOVE efficiency and convenience. Going to the bookstore is one of my favorite things to do a few times per week. I peruse magazine and books for a couple of hours. I'm sure like you, I could really spend the entire day there...if I COULD spend the entire day there. :)

The Kindle is also immediate cost prohibitive. I just can't wrap my arms around the cost. But, bringing in another element. I have read 7 books now on my iPhone (believe it or not). I am often away from my computer and have time to read. I enjoy it. That said, I do carry at least one book around with me, too, for times when I have a low battery.

Currently reading:
1. Career Renegade by Jonathan Fields (on my iPhone)
2. Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea by Chelsea Handler (on my iPhone)
3. The Thong Also Rises by Jennifer L. Leo, Ayun Halliday, and Laurie Notaro (paperback)
